Empowered Voice, Well-Being & Leadership at Work

Across Women’s and Asian ERGs, a shared pattern emerges: high-performing professionals carrying invisible pressure to be capable, composed, grateful, and quiet — often at the expense of their voice and well-being.

Dr. Sweta Chawla delivers experiential talks and workshops that help employees reconnect to their voice, regulate stress, and lead with grounded confidence, without burning out or over-performing. Drawing from her background as a former professor, leadership coach, certified Step into Your Moxie® Facilitator, and her lived experience as an Asian immigrant woman, she creates spaces where employees feel seen, empowered, and equipped to lead authentically.

“I LOVED Dr. Sweta’s workshop.

Far too often, we set objectives and goals in the DEIB space that focus on educating others or uncovering unconscious bias without acknowledging the real self-awareness and discovery work that is needed to create true inclusion and belonging both inside and outside the workplace.

Something as common and simple as being a “people pleaser” can be rooted in personal experiences of exclusion as we were growing up and navigating our way into the social world for the first time.

The workshop really sparked some introspection as I began to think about what is rewarded and valued both in the workplace and at home- how some characteristics of “the ideal employee” keep in place systems and biases that contribute to the cycle of exclusion, and hinder creating an environment of true equity, inclusion, and belonging.”

The Feminine Advantage in Leadership

This talk explores how redefining power and leadership can unlock more sustainable impact, especially in times of uncertainty and change. It challenges the belief that constant productivity and control are the only paths to success, and instead centers often-dismissed “soft” qualities as essential leadership capacities. Through personal stories and practical frameworks, the session invites participants to consider how they might lead in ways that are more aligned, regenerative, and expansive.

Take Aways:

  • Learn why sustainable leadership requires cycles of action and reflection, and how stepping back can unlock career-defining opportunities and deeper purpose.

  • Identify three hidden patterns—over-performing, people-pleasing, and perfectionism—that block aligned decisions, and explore a practical framework for shifting out of them.

  • An introduction to “feminine” leadership capacities as universally accessible skills that support innovation, equity, and resilience in evolving systems

Dr. Sweta has a special knack for tapping into the power of leading authentically. She is an inspiring speaker and guiding coach. She has twice guided women at take the lead’s power up conferences and always gets great reviews from the participants.
